3 modes

Up to 3 modes can be used per Keystone function. They change the way Keystone groups keyframes when processing them. These modes are accessible using hotkeys as follows:

  • Layer mode (default) click

  • Property mode ALT (⌥) + click

  • Global mode SHIFT + click

Layer mode

By default, with a simple click, keyframes are grouped by layers.

Property mode

ALT (⌥) + click allows to group keyframes by property. Particularly useful when you want to stagger or align keyframes located on a single layer.

Global mode

SHIFT + click groups keyframes all together. This is the combination to use if you have selected keyframes on multiple layers and want to maintain their relative offset.
